This Privacy Policy explains how Roof Guy Exteriors (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit roofguyexteriors.com (the “Site”) or request our services. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information you provide. When you fill out a form, request a free estimate, or use one of our tools, we collect the details you submit—typically your name, phone number, email address, property address, and information about your project.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our providers automatically collect certain technical data when you browse, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the Site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see below).
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, analyze traffic, and support advertising. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the Site may not function as intended if you do.
We use the Meta Pixel, a tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram). The Pixel uses cookies to record actions such as page views so we can measure the effectiveness of our advertising, understand how visitors use the Site, and show relevant ads to people who have visited. This process may share certain information (such as your IP address and the pages you view) with Meta.
You can control this data:
We use services provided by Google. Our instant roof analyzer uses the Google Solar API to generate satellite-based property estimates, and we use Google Fonts to display type on the Site. We may also use analytics and advertising services such as Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used and to measure our marketing. These services may set cookies and receive technical data such as your IP address.
You can control this data:
Several interactive features on the Site—including our lead and estimate forms, roof analyzer, storm radar, storm history lookup, and project map—are provided through TradeCam (tradecam.app). When you use these features, the information you enter is submitted to and processed by that provider on our behalf so we can respond to your request. These tools are governed by their own privacy practices in addition to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate our business—for example, with service providers who help us run the Site and process leads, with the advertising and analytics partners described above, with insurance carriers or adjusters when you ask us to assist with a claim, and when required by law.
We keep the information you provide for as long as needed to respond to your request, provide services, and meet our legal, accounting, and warranty obligations.
The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
